Linden is Rhine's husband. She was sold to be married to him. He is hopelessly in love with Rhine. He is a young architect who is also married to Jenna and Cecily. In the first book Linden is twenty one. His first wife was Rose who grew up with him and shared a similar longing for freedom to Rhine which they bond over. Linden is described to have green eyes, black curly hair, to be pale and lanky, and to have bits of gold in his teeth. Linden has one son, Bowen, to his youngest wife Cecily. Linden dies after flying in a plane.
